Jade and Joy Hallyday

Recently interviewed on the programme “Sept à Huit” (TF1), Johnny and Laeticia Hallyday's daughters spoke about the cyberbullying they experience on a daily basis.

“Rice bowl”, “go back to your country”, “if your father could see you”: at 19 and 15 years old, Jade and Joy are the targets of numerous hateful comments on Instagram, where they are followed by 197,000 and 70,000 people respectively. These insults, which are often racist, go as far as death threats, Jade reports, «I've been told, «I'm going to slit your throat, bitch.»“ Deemed too vulgar, Joy confides that she has been called an ”Asian prostitute," even though she is still a minor.
If they are appearing on TF1, it is to condemn this outpouring of online hate they suffer.
