The National Assembly has just voted unanimously to create a Delegation for Children's Rights, as proposed by President Yaël Braun-Pivet (LREM). Requested for 20 years by parliamentarians and child welfare professionals, it will be established in October and will comprise 36 members of parliament.

She will speak on topics related to childhood, such as bullying at school, domestic violence, child welfare, incest and even access to pornography.

According to Yaël Braun-Pivet, this delegation will be able to “hear any person whose testimony it deems necessary for its proper information”, present “information reports”, but also “carry out flash missions on subjects within its competence”.
