Since the “JeremstarGate” affair in 2018, Aniss Zitouni, known as “Aquababe”, has continued his relentless pursuit of Jeremstar, conducting a cyberbullying campaign involving serious accusations, insults and threats. For several years, Jeremstar has been fighting to have his cyberbully convicted. Finally, on 2 June 2022, Aniss Zitouni was convicted by the Paris court for “defamation, public insult and public insult on the grounds of sexual orientation” and ordered to pay €12,000 in damages to Jeremstar.

The latter is still facing another legal proceeding, also filed by Jeremstar four years ago, for “digital harassment, invasion of privacy and death threats”.
